Recently I decided that I wanted to fall in love with yoga again. Growing up I always dabbled in practising yoga, because my mum really loved it and still does. My practice then was mainly a dodgy video involving people dressed in a lot of rainbow leotards or a Jerry hall video. So even though I enjoyed it, I would never really class myself as a yogi in the sense of creating my own flows and tailoring my practice with how my body felt that day.
Of course as time has gone on I’ve tried other forms of exercise and dipped in and out of yoga now and again. I found a love of hot yoga in particular. But after wanting a change of pace, and finding some amazing inspiration online, I am ready to commit to yoga once again.
I purchased an E-book from Jessica Olie, which has been wonderful so far at helping to create my own flow bit by bit. I am slowly trying more moves and working towards when a flow will become effortless and free. This guide is amazing, and I can’t wait to see how much my body and mind progress. Yoga is one of the most beautiful things you can do for yourself, and I am so excited for the journey ahead.
