Beauty products I’m loving for Winter…

Charlotte Tilbury – Limited Edition Instant Eye Palette

This is a beautiful palette that I instantly fell in love with from the minute I saw it. Not only do I love the concept of the four different looks you can create – Day, Desk, Date and Disco, but I also love the colour tones as they are perfect for my taste. As the palette shows, this is great for taking you from the office to a night out, with beautiful, natural and glamorous looks all available in one. One thing that I really love about this palette is that all of the colours compliment each other, and I can easily see myself using all of them. Sometimes you can buy a palette because you fall in love with a few of the shades, but with this one, I really do love all of them.

Body Shop Face Masks

It has been a long time since I have used any body shop products. Mainly because there is so much confusion on whether they can really be classed as cruelty free, and also because I wanted to branch out and try different brands and products. But recently I really wanted to see what the body shop has had to offer. After playing around with a few things, I really fell in love with their range of face masks. I weighed up the benefits of each mask, and chose my favourite three. Though lets be honest, I will probably end up purchasing the rest!

As the weather gets colder, I notice my skin does get a little drier and needs some extra care. I find that most of us are usually too busy, or tired to spend a lot of time with face masks and extensive beauty routines, other then washing our face and plucking our eyebrows. But lately I have been making more of an effort to give more time to take extra care to look and feel my best.

Each mask has been inspired by the ingredients they contain, and focus on natural sources we can use to benefit our skin and traditional beauty remedies.

Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask- This is a beautiful mask that unclogs, refines pores and reveals your natural glow. It feels indulgent on the skin, is very refreshing and leaves the skin looking great. The mask contains bamboo charcoal, green tea and tea tree oil.

Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask – This mask is perfect for you, if you need an intense dose of replenishing moisture and comfort to feel smoother and softer. The main ingredient is pure honey from Ethiopia which is rich in nutrients. It also contains marula oil and organic olive oil.

Amazonian Acai Energising Radiance Mask- A perfect mask for your skin when it needs a recharge from signs of stress and fatigue. This is a lovely mask, that contains acai berry extract, guarana seed extract and babassu oil. This mask is lovely for adding a bit more radiance to your complexion, as well as giving your skin a much needed revive.

Conditioning & Moisturising Hair Masks

Hair masks are another beauty product that I have always tried to include in my routine, but never actually gave myself time for. However, my hair can become quite dry, especially when keeping it straight and using heat styling products regularly. Lately I have been trying to include a mask or just a more intense conditioning treatment for my hair at least every fortnight.

Banana nourishing hair mask– Bananas are well known for being great for your hair. Not only do bananas benefit you for hair growth, this body shop hair mask nourishes your hair and boosts shine. Though 5 minutes is all you need to leave the mask on, I do like to leave it a few extra minutes to make sure all of my hair gets the benefit. This is a lovely treat for your hair when you need a quick mask before styling your hair.

Jamaican black castor oil masque– The Shea moisture masque is truly amazing. You can use it with heat or without. The benefits of this masque are to help nourish and rebuild your hair. It contains Jamaican black castor oil, peppermint and shea butter. It’s not the most attractive looking masque I’ll admit, but after using this and leaving it on for an hour, my hair was full of bounce and shine and felt amazing!

Hot oil hair treatment – Hot oil treatments are also something I have heard a lot about, but not ever tried for myself. Coconut oil has definitely been used on my hair before but I wanted to try hot oil as a more indulgent treatment. This oil mask by Hask is perfect as a one off treatment, and only takes 5 minutes.

These are just a few products I have been loving as the weather gets colder, and just what I needed to add to my beauty routine. What are some of your winter essentials.

Love
