I wanted to write a post today, to talk about Jamaica, during this awful time that the country is experiencing. This also extends to Cuba, Haiti and all of the countries hit by hurricane Melissa.
Hurricane Melissa, has been described as one of the most catastrophic of all time, at a category 5 level hurricane. It made impact a few days ago, and my heart truly breaks for Jamaica and as mentioned the many other countries affected. Of course I have family over in Jamaica, so it was a worrying time waiting to see how bad it would hit, but beyond personal worry, seeing the aftermath all over the country is hard to see.
