Kora Organics

I first read about Kora Organics when it was launched back in 2009. As a huge fan of the Victoria’s Secret show and an even bigger fan of Miranda Kerr, I was so intrigued by her skin care brand. Miranda was my favourite Angel at the time, because she spoke a lot of truth about health, nutrition and spirituality. All of these values are integrated within Kora Organics, a skin care brand founded on the philosophy followed by Miranda herself and her holistic approach to taking care of herself. Kora believes their products are a chance to enrich your skin and spirit. All of the products are energised with Rose quartz and infused with organic and natural ingredients such as; Noni, Aloe vera, Essential oils and Vitamin A,B and C.

I fully believe that taking care of yourself from the inside out is truly how you will feel your best and ultimately look your best. Miranda lives her life this way, and pours this into her products. So I finally decided to try some of the Kora range for myself.

3 Step system – Dry Skin

‘A daily ritual consisting of Cream Cleanser, Balancing Rose Mist and Hydrating Moisturizer for dry skin. 3 steps, 2 times a day, super simple, healthier skin’.

I purchased the mini 3 step system to test the products. I loved this little kit that has everything you need for a simple skin care regime.

Cream Cleanser

I really enjoyed using the cleanser. It doesn’t really have a scent that I noticed, but it is a lovely cream cleanser that feels great on the skin. Without feeling tacky or leaving residue, this works into the skin well, without creating an excessive amount of foam or anything, which is to be expected given the natural ingredients.

Balancing Rose Mist

There is something I love about a face mist, not only is it refreshing to the skin at any time of day, I find that compared to some toners, it is light on the skin and just the perfect amount to feel refreshed, energised and ready for the day.  This rose mist has such a lovely, subtle scent and it is my favourite part of the three step system.

Hydrating Moisturizer

Similar to the cleanser, this does not have an overwhelming scent but this moisturiser feels very hydrating and soothing. It sinks into the skin easily, and I have felt that my skin feels plumped and of course moisturised after I apply it.

The three-step system has proved very successful in improving my skin. Previously I was feeling as though whilst my skin was not bad, it also felt a little dull. I wanted to see if a new skin care regime and brand could give me a boost. I don’t feel as though I have seen as many spots or breakouts with these products and overall I have found an improvement.

Noni glow oil

I love using face oil. My first experience of using oil was not too long ago and I find that the benefits are amazing. I really wanted to try the Noni glow oil, as I have heard Miranda talk in countless interviews about Noni juice as a staple in her diet and a main source for providing benefits to her health and wellbeing.

This Noni oil is a decent size bottle and feels very luxurious on the skin. Although it can be applied day or night, I chose to usually just use this as part of my nighttime routine as it feels nicer to leave overnight and really sink in to my skin. This was the product I was most excited about trying as I think face oils can really make such a difference.

Calming Lavender mist

Although the 3 step kit was perfect for day and night, I really wanted to try the Lavender mist as well, as lavender is a great tool in helping your mind to relax. I started to really look forward to my night time routine due to this spray and how much it relaxed me. On the skin, it felt refreshing just as the rose mist had, and prepared my skin perfectly for an evening of sleep.

I highly recommend this spray as it is perfect to calm and soothe the skin.

Recovery eye gel

Eye cream is another essential that I think everyone needs to implement into their skin care routine. I am someone who suffers from dark circles so I do have high expectations from eye creams to truly offer some soothing and brightening qualities. I found this cream to be quite thick, so a little goes a long way. Again, this can be applied day and night, but I preferred to apply it overnight and let it work it’s magic. I feel as though I have seen an improvement to my under eyes already and I really enjoy using this cream. It’s quite a small amount of product you get for the price, but I do find it effective.

Noni Glow face balm

I love the idea of the face balm, it’s designed with travel in mind. Something you can keep in your handbag on the go, and keep your face moisturised throughout the day. You can apply this to your cheeks, lips and face to keep your skin soft and moisturised. This is great for winter, as your skin can get a little drier. They also do this in a body palm as well, if you wanted to apply to your legs or any other dry areas.

I have loved trying the Kora organics range, and though I don’t think I would be able to use it regularly until it it released in the UK, as the shipping is just too high, I really do love these products. Though it can be purchased from Net-a-porter, I know Kora does have plans to release the products to actual stores later this year and into 2019. If they do, I would highly recommend them, as not only do I love what these products stand for, but I am loving how my skin feels using them.

Love
