The Tone it up challenge is in full swing and I am feeling so good!
As much as I like to pretend exercise isn’t my friend, it only take a few sessions to get back into it. I’m most definitely an all or nothing girl, I either have to do workouts all the time or I do none at all. As soon as the challenge started I was back to doing something physical everyday. Whether this is a 20 minute workout or one hour it varies, but without a doubt I always feel amazing afterwards!
Meal wise, I have stuck to most of the plan but adapted here and there when I wasn’t able to get a hold of the right ingredients, or just working around my work schedule. I have been craving healthy foods lately so it really has been the perfect time for a health kick. I love meal prep on Sundays, especially with the adorable Tone it Up lunch boxes I got with the new challenge. Preparation is the key to everything, because even if your day doesn’t go to plan, your work runs late or you miss your workout, at least you know your diet is on point.
This week has been so good and motivating. I like to keep track of measurements, but overall I rely more on how I feel and how my clothes fit. So far I have lost 3lbs, though still don’t quite believe that!
All in all, the first week has been amazing and reminded me why I enjoy being part of the beautiful community that is Tone it Up!
What keeps you motivated to workout and stay healthy?
