Hello 2016!

It’s that time when the phrase ‘New year, New me’ is used frequently and often. Whilst there is nothing wrong with wanting a new you, I myself like to set myself goals, just to improve on who I already am. I have enjoyed 2015, though nothing too exciting has taken place this year for me personally, besides starting this blog 🙂 But I don’t necessarily see not having too much excitement as a negative thing. We have seen a lot of tragedy happen over recent months, and I am truly thankful that my family and friends are safe, well and happy. Therefore, I’m not so much setting any resolutions, but rather promises to myself to keep, as well as personal goals. So what do I want to achieve from 2016?

  • Make a commitment back to exercise and healthy eating

Not that I have been truly unhealthy but as I am a member of Tone it Up, there is a new 8 week challenge set to start January 3rd. I really am excited to start this plan. Not only did I purchase the new Tone it up bundle for this challenge, but I also bought a yoga mat as well. Making time for exercise and for yourself is so important and I think with the stress of my job sometimes I neglect that side of things.

  • Find a job I truly enjoy

As I have mentioned before, I don’t really like my current job. It’s certainly not the worst job in the world, and the people I work with are lovely enough. But it causes me too much stress and unhappiness when I am there, that it’s really time for a change.

  • Commit more time to my Blog

Although I do spend a lot of my spare time on my blog currently, I really want to improve my posts, and be able to post more frequently. Though Blogging is not my full-time job, I would like to treat it as such. I really appreciate anyone who reads my blog, and I want to make sure that every visitor enjoys the content available. I promise to bring so much more in 2016.

  • Don’t be so afraid

This applies to a few aspects of my life, but one in particular I have to really overcome is my fear of flying. I was not always afraid of flying, but over the last few years I have become so nervous, and the fact that I haven’t been on a plane in nearly five years isn’t helping. I do plan on going to Greece with my sister in 2016 so I am really looking forward to overcoming this fear.

I also need to be less fearful of doing other things. Whether that means being afraid of people watching me run badly around the park, afraid to experiment more with makeup or afraid of drawing attention to myself. I really need to just think less of what anyone else thinks.

I’m really looking forward to what 2016 may bring my way, and I hope you will all be along for the ride.

Thank you for reading everyone and I here’s to a wonderful and happy 2016!

Love
