Beauty Favourites!

It’s that time again, I am talking about some of my favourite things! Though the year is moving so quickly, I do think August was quite a slow month. Maybe because I was mainly just working, but September is quite busy for me, in my personal life and for the blog. I am working on a bit of a blog update and makeover so stay tuned for that, until then why not see some of the beauty favourites I have been loving lately.

Tangle teezer Aqua splash Hair brush

I actually bought this brush because my other one went missing, and wouldn’t you know it I found that brush later on the same day! I am glad that I picked this up, as it is a really great brush for the shower. It is designed to easily detangle hair, in the shower or out, but does work better with water. It’s gentle and effective. perfect find!

Botanics– Purifying face scrub

I love using a face scrub sometimes, when there are days I feel like my face needs a really deep clean. I usually use this if I’ve been wearing a lot of makeup consecutively for a couple of days. It’s just a nice way for your skin to feel completely refreshed. This scrub is gentle, smells lovely and isn’t too harsh. I have normal/dry skin and find it really does make my skin appear clearer and brighter.

Lancome hypnose star mascara

This is my favourite mascara currently. It has been a staple in my beauty bag for a long time. I foolishly decided to try a different Lancome mascara last time I needed to refill, and it just wasn’t for me. The Hypnose star is really fantastic, great and easy application, doesn’t easily clump and increase length for my lashes. This is one of my only real high-end makeup products that I use, and though it is a little pricey, for me it’s worth it.

Laura Mercier Fan brush

This brush guys….oh my word. It is amazing! It is soft, easy to use and applies powder like a dream. I use this brush with the Laura Mercier brightening powder, but is was designed with their setting powder in mind. As mentioned I don’t usually spend a lot of money on makeup, but I am beginning to invest in some staple items that will last. This brush is one of them! Amazing!

Thanks for reading everyone….what are some of the products you can’t live without?
