Happy Saturday! Not so happy for me as I failed the driving test for the second time 🙁 It’s a conspiracy I tell you! (Honestly they are so petty). Anyway, on a brighter note. I thought I would share my daily skincare routine. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am obsessed with the Body Shop. I have loved it for years, and I use their products for everything, Shampoo, makeup, body butter literally everything. So at the minute I do use the Vitamin C line. I started using this after I decided to get a moisturiser with a higher SPF, and instantly fell in love. So I slowly changed over to the other items over time and I still love them now.
So onto my routine. I have to confess, I do have times when I get lazy and do the one thing every good beauty blog and skincare expert tells us not to….sleep with my makeup on! However, I have made more time to take better care of my skin, and make sure i actually wash it. Which I have been doing, and I fell so much better for it. I am lucky that I don’t have really bad skin, but it certainly can improve. I do the standard Cleanse, tone and moisturise as well as using a good face mask too. I do tend to use coconut oil on my face at night, but for in the morning I start fresh faced and use my Body shop- Vitamin C Daily facial cleansing polish
So here I am ready to wash away the night! I take a small amount of product and massage on to my face. This is almost like a scrub, so I really enjoy using it, because my skin always feels really clean. I do make sure I give it a good scrub so I will do this for a few minutes, and add a little more water if needed.
After my face has been scrubbed I rinse off with warm water, and leave it to try rather than using a towel. Following this I will use the Vitamin C toning mist or use another body shop liquid toner. Finally I will put moisturiser on my face and neck. It’s important to use this on your neck too, as it is all of your skin you need to take care of. Once this soaks in you ca go ahead with your day, or add makeup 🙂
Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!
